Biasly is an A.I powered News & Media Analysis platform which analyzes hundreds of articles a day and rates them on a bias meter. My role on this project involved re-desigining information archictecture on the home and
article page, as well as creating iterative wireframes, mockups, high-fidelity, and conducting user surveys.
I began this project by researching the current issues with the site's infrastructure analyzing previous site research findings, and comparing it to how other well known news media sites structure their information and content.
2. Define
Based on previous and my own research I found many users expressed frustration around navigation and confusion of the site's mission. The solution and goals we defined was to re-structure information archictecture, streamline navigation. and modernize UI.
3. Low Fidelity
Once our goals where set I began creating iterative wireframes, collecting internal feedback from stakeholders, and implementing changes to continue my iterative design process until a successful layout was finalized
4. User Surveys
Once final iterations where agreed upon, I prepared mockups to be sent and viewed for surveying to guage the effectiveness of layout changes compared to the original layout. The changes yielded very positive results with 100% of survey participants understanding the site's goals
and 85% increase in satisfication of site navigation.
5. High-Fidelity
Once survey results came back succesful I converted the succesful mockups into high-fidelity design and implmenting any neccessary changes.
6. Testing
Final rounds of testing and feedback implementations before sending to development.
